Declaration of Candidacy

For the 2018 calendar year, the following executive board positions are open for balloting:

Second Vice-President: Oversee activities planned by the State Training Conference Committee and the Professional Development Committee. Oversee joint chapter meeting locations and speakers/presenters. Perform the duties incident to the office and such other duties as may be prescribed by the governing documents or by the Executive Board.

Secretary/Treasurer: Ensure the production and distribution of accurate minutes of all meetings of the members and chapter Executive Board. Ensure that all notices are duly given in accordance with these bylaws or as required by law. Ensure that there is the proper publication and distribution of official correspondence, publication and distribution documents on behalf of the chapter. Have general oversight authority of the books, funds and securities of the chapter. Prepare the chapter financial records for review by chapter. Send or cause to be sent all financial reports required by law to NENA and APCO. Perform the duties incident to the office and such other duties as may be prescribed by the governing documents or by the Executive Board.

APCO Executive Council Representative: Give quarterly reports activities on a national level. Act as liaison between the joint chapter and the national associations. Perform the duties incident to the office and such other duties as may be prescribed by the governing documents or by the Executive Board.

Member-At-Large: Administrative: Act as chair of the Bylaws Committee to review bylaws and policies and report to Executive Board of needed changes. Perform the duties incident to the office and such other duties as may be prescribed by the governing documents or by the Executive Board.

Member-At-Large: Media Relations: Oversees the Chapter webpage to ensure information accuracy. Oversees the social media on behalf of the Chapter. Perform the duties incident to the office and such other duties as may be prescribed by the governing documents or by the Executive Board.

Commercial Advisory Member: Establish open lines of communications with commercial membership and acts as a liaison to industry vendors. Assist with state training conference working with the chair of the vendor committee. Chair the Commercial Committee to help promote the chapter through the commercial membership. Perform the duties incident to the office and such other duties as may be prescribed by the governing documents or by the chapter Executive Board.


Interested parties should read and have a clear understanding of the Elections Policy and the committment required of participating on the executive board prior to completing the form below. The Elections Policy also has several Appendix forms that must be signed and submitted prior to taking office.
